 Make a BIG difference with a Small Grant!

Applications for the Small Grant Scheme 2024-25 are currently closed and will reopen next year. If you were successful in receiving funding this year, stay up to date by logging in to your grant account

The Scheme offers funding for projects that revitalise shared greenspaces, benefitting the community and the environment. The Scheme has been supporting community volunteers focused on environmental action since 2014. 

This grant scheme seeks to:

  • Increase civic pride and improve the quality of the local environment
  • Transform underused spaces into vibrant and valued community places
  • Improve the health and wellbeing of communities whilst helping to improve public spaces
  • Support environmentally focused actions and help to increase local biodiversity

2023-24 Scheme

The Scheme for the year 2023-24 saw an impressive number of applications, totaling 454. This includes an encouraging 249 new applicants showing interest in the scheme and in environmental and community development. This year was particularly successful, with a significant 89 projects completing their grant project. The total investment allocated amounted to a whooping £113,760!
